Diffuse Alopecia

Hair loss is a common health problem. It leads to serious anxiety and emotional stress in patients. Changes in hair cycle are responsible for the pathogenesis of diffuse alopecia. Diffuse alopecia is categorized into two groups, namely anagen effluvium and telogen effluvium, according to affected hair. Detailed history, dermatological examination, and laboratory investigations, if needed, are important for diagnosis. In this review, diffuse alopecia has been discussed, along with its diagnosis and treatment.

Diffüz Alopesiler

Saç dökülmesi oldukça sık rastlanılan bir sağlık sorunudur. Hastalarda ciddi anksiyete ve emosyonel strese yol açmaktadır. Kıl siklusundaki değişiklikler diffüz alopesilerin patogenezinden sorumludur. Diffüz alopesiler etkilenen saça göre anagen effluvium ve telogeneffluvium olmak üzere iki grupta incelenmektedir. Ayrıntılı anamnez, dermatolojik muayene ve gerekli durumlarda kan tahlilleri tanının konulmasında önem taşımaktadır. Bu derlemede diffüz alopesilerden, tanı ve tedavi yöntemleriyle birlikte bahsedilmiştir.
